Nomadic, the esteemed watchmaker from Belfast, is setting a new standard with the latest iteration of the Marai 401 by introducing its Gold Plated Prestige Collection. This reinvented favorite, the Maraí 401 Prestige, now dazzles with a luxurious two-tone gold-plated bracelet and case. The Marai 401 compliments the Turas 914 and offers a vintage dive aesthetic to accompany the adventuring field watch.

The Maraí 401 has a timeless dive watch aesthetic, featuring a 40mm case, 660ft (200m) of water resistance, and a Swiss mechanical movement. Each watch pays homage to Belfast’s legendary engineering feats, proudly bearing the city's mark of craftsmanship. It includes an innovative clasp with micro-adjustments for a flawless fit and supreme comfort all day long. The case and bracelet are crafted from 316L stainless steel, complemented by an 18K Gold PVD brushed finish for an elegant, understated appearance.

Belfast's rich history of craft and innovation spans from its shipyards to its linen mills. Dominating the city's skyline, the iconic Samson & Goliath cranes symbolize shipbuilding prowess and industrial success. The Maraí 401’s distinctive yellow second-hand is a tribute to these cranes. Harland and Wolff, the shipyard where they stand, built the RMS Titanic and its first-class passenger tender, the SS Nomadic. Designed by Thomas Andrews, the SS Nomadic is now the last surviving White Star Line ship, a quarter the size of her ill-fated sister. Launched on the Titanic's anniversary, the Maraí 401 Prestige collection reflects the grandeur of the luxury liner.

The SS Nomadic has an adventurous and storied past. After ferrying passengers to the world's largest transatlantic liners and serving in both World Wars, the Nomadic found a second life as a restaurant and party venue beside the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Now, more than a century later, she has been restored to her former glory and returned to her birthplace in Belfast's Hamilton Dock. NOMADIC aims to captures the essence of the local Irish history and the industrial progress seen over the last few decades with this latest release.

The Maraí prestige collection offers five captivating colors: Classic Black and Gold, Crimson Dawn, Deep Ocean Blue, Emerald Abyss, and Pitch Black. The Prestige Collection is available on May 31 and is priced at 1495 Euros with no date and 1550 Euros with a date function.
