After years of perfecting titanium tool watches, RZE recognized a growing demand for a watch that could take on extreme shocks and vibrations—something only a digital module could truly handle. Enter the RZE UTD-8000, a watch that embraces digital technology while staying true to RZE’s ethos of toughness and reliability. Its angular, lightweight titanium case houses an advanced multi-function digital module, offering precision timekeeping, a stopwatch, an alarm, and an auto-calendar.
Despite its digital nature, the UTD-8000 feels just as solid and well-crafted as any RZE mechanical watch. The Grade 2 titanium case is precision-machined to ensure the protection of critical components like the crystal oscillator, preventing failures from impact. The caseback is secured with Torx screws, emphasizing RZE’s attention to durability. Adding a touch of visual intrigue, a finely machined aluminum accent sits between the case and bezel, subtly highlighting the watch’s layered construction.
